Since the age of 9, Eric Leclerc has been bitten with the worst bug of them all, the magic bug. Eric saw a magician performing an appearing money trick one day and has since never looked back. Eric considers himself lucky to have found his passion at such a young age in his life. He started doing shows for his family and friends until he was 15 years old. One day he got a call from a neighbor inquiring about hiring him for her child's birthday party, he was the happiest wizard on the block. The show was a huge success, seeing this, the father of the birthday child urged him to start advertising his services. Since that day Eric has evolved from simple kids tricks to complex illusions for the whole family.

In 1998, Eric wanted something more than just shows, he decideto enter a magic competition in Montreal. Nervous like he had never been, he practiced his act for months in front of his faithful mirror. Competition day came and to Eric's amazement, he brought home the "People's Choice" award. This meant a lot to any magic man considering the whole audience were other fellow magicians! This gave Eric the boost he needed to pursue bigger things with his magic. He landed guest spots on national television and radio, performed for some of the country's biggest companies and restaurants and has quickly acquired a name for himself in the community. Not bad for someone still in his teens!!

In 2003, Leclerc entered the "Canadian Association of Magicians" national competition and traveled to Kitchener to compete. Once again Eric brought the gold to Ottawa which was by far, the most rewarding experience of his magical career. Now at 25 years of age, Eric still has thepassion for his craft that sparked these intense magical experiences and never ceases to think, work and breathe magic.
